    Our dish washer model D1612E has started to show the error code e4 whenever we turn the machine on. Have looked up error codes and says it’s a faulty temperature sensor. Where would I find the sensor on this machine and what is the product code for a replacement. We want to try and fix it before having to replace it.

    Amodel number is DI 612E

    thank you. I have taken the door panel off and can not see anything that resembles the part. Only thing we have in the door panel is the dispenser for the tablets and rinse aid.

    well in that case you need to double check that model as that stat is listed against DI612E look at the label and see what it says

    I have found online a part diagram once my husband home from work going to get him to have a look. Think I may have found where it is. Thank you for all your help

    It’s in the sump.

    Not an easy one to find Dave, doesn’t actually appear on the drawing as such, it’s an odd one.
