    Hi,

After using my Panasonic microwave today, the machine seems to have gone completely dead. The top of the machine was very hot, so wonder if that might be the cause. Would it be worthwhile checking the internal fuses as I imagine if they did blow it was for a reason and I have limited troubleshooting knowledge? If it’s best to replace, are there any particular models or brands to go for, or is it pot luck? The Panasonic is only 3 to 4 years old.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

if you have limited knowledge i would not touch a microwave as there can be lethal voltages inside

Panasonic are still a good make, there may be a local professional who will look to repair it if the cost is not too high

Thanks for the advice, I think it seems like getting a new one would be the best option.
