    hi. i have an F01 error on a hotpoint OS897D C IX/HP fan oven. when the oven is switched on at the wall the outer top element comes on even when all the dials are set to the off position. does anyone have any ideas on this error code please? i have a funny feeling as well this may have a programmable board on it as when i pulled out the oven there was an oval slot that looks like where the hotpoint engineers run diagnostics and program the boards. thanks
