Does anyone know where I can get a service manual for a Hotpoint FZS150p freezer.
The owners manual is very basic and offers no help in diagnosing a fault.
I have searched online without success but I am sure one must exist for service engineers to access.

    Thanks for your reply.
Had an engineer come to fix the freezer which was not chilling. He replaced the mother board and went away but it is still not working. On leaving he said something about the self diagnostic port was going to ground so he shorted it out. I assumed he meant on the old board before he replaced it but I was wandering if he meant the new one. It would be nice to know a bit more about the mother board and how to test for faults.

I see it as you need to get the engineer back as you paid for a repair that is not working
On hotpoint boards if you replace them you have to programme the board. I assume he has done that and provided the correct software is on it should run. you can also access fault codes through that port

some also have test cycles but am not sure on this model as fridges is not my strong point

Thanks for you help. I have rebooked a visit from the engineer but would still like to have more information on the contriller functions and test procedures.
    Regards David
