    Hello, my logik tumble dryer has started flashing (and beeping) the drying and end lights whenever I start a cycle and it stops straight away. Ive cleaned the lint, filter, the sensor bars and water drawer. It’s only 6 months old. The door click is fine and the drum is fine, it’s driving me crazy!! Could someone have any ideas??

    A pure guess since no model number given AND it`ll be too young to know much about anyway at 6 months . BUT it might have a heater reset thermostat fitted? If so you might find it under the rear main cover it might even mention it in the instruction book. If not it is under warranty isn`t it?

    as Andy says it should be undr warranty and if you touch it you could void it

    It’s a Logik LCD7W18 condenser and curry’s are being useless.

    [QUOTE= curry’s are being useless.

    no change there then lol

    plus you have one of their brands which makes things a lot harder. seems to possibly be turkish built which is made by Vestel

    and as Andy said first thing i would do is find the element and look for a resettable stat

    I know, it’s a nightmare trying to get help. Unfortunately it doesn’t have a reset button on it, I dunno if I will be worth just buying replacements myself and putting them in.

    Fault definition – Rear NTC or wiring open circuit.

    First point thanks for the model, Second point there are several variations / versions of models listed under LCD7W18 I picked one of the most common ones, the serial code number is 57????????. NTC is one of the thermistors or a themostat. And yes there is a reset button on the overload stat. Turn power off / unplug. Remove the heater cover or rear back cover and there bang in front of you is the heater. On top of the heater there are 2 stats the left one is the cycling stat the right one is the resettable stat. All you have to do is to press the little white/ grey button gently on the right stat and if it clicks you have reset the cicuit so that the heater will now work. Refit back on. If it does NOT click you are now in deep trouble and things get much more involved.
    Usually, as per the ElectriQ brand which is a similar contraption, the cause is overloading the machine with clothes so that the air being blown into the machine cannot circulate properly and so the machine o/heats and the stat clicks out. OR the drum does not go around under load and just sits there looking rather sorry for itself and hums – usually so long as the drum is not seized for some reason that is the capacitor that has failed OR the cycle stat is on the blink OR the condenser is blocked up restricting the air flow. It is probably just overloading as the cause or the latter suggestion. The heater / stat group as one unit is about 100 quid on the version I looked at!!! ( part number 3822229pm ). A total Curry`s “waskly wip off” so it is worth checking as I have described before doing anything else or heavens forebid throwing it away in frustration.

    When you remove the back cover there are three stats with no buttons at all. It’s so frustrating, still trying to get through to curry’s and it is impossible

    “When you remove the back cover there are three stats with no buttons at all” Lots of versions to this model that is why.
