Prod code 916096169/02. Zanussi condenser t/dyer.
Works if set on timed 30 / 60mins and fresher up programmes**** BUT if set on any of the other programmes ( where it senses ) such as cottons the machine will start: drum revolves, heater does work then after 40 secs the machine stops but fascia lights are still on. Thought it might be the carbon sensor that rubs on the front of the drum but no such luck as that seems ok. Beginning to think might be dreaded pcb? ****so I know this bit works, whether it is actually timing down though I couldn`t say but it does run 30 minutes +
Anyone got any ideas please, doesn`t really make much sense..the drum is separated electrically front to rear have you checked its not shorted and the earth strap at rear is there
