    Hello all

I have the above Fridge Freezer, last weekend the food in the freezer defrosted and the fridge wasn’t very cold.

I emptied everything out, removed the rear panel in the freezer compartment, the fan span freely, there was a bit of ice on the coil assembly, so I thawed it out.

Put everything back together, placed a small plastic bottle in the freezer with some water and switched on. After a couple of hours, the water had frozen, so I thought all good and re-stocked the freezer.

Exactly a week later, and the freezer has thawed out again, any ideas?

Also, I am confused if this model has thermistors buried in the outer insulation or an actual thermostat fitted inside.

I can confirm the fridge internal LED light/temperature setting unit is part number 5907740400, some sites list this as a thermostat but I read elsewhere it isn’t a thermostat, just a knob with a resistor to set required temperature?

Can anyone please give myself some ideas of the probable cause, and confirm if the part I quoted is a thermostat or not?

    Regards
    Bozzy
