    Hello,

I’ve had a Bosch WAW325H0GB for just over 2yrs. A few months ago I got the E18 error and found a 20p in the filter. Removed it and all was ok.

However, since then I keep occasionally getting the same error. I unplug and drain the machine, check the filter and pump which are empty, even checked drainages hoses. Usually I switch the machine back on and it restarts its cycle and drains ok. It then seems to run for a few weeks with no problem, but then I get the drainage error again. However, now nothing seems to clear it.

I’ve also noticed that the water I now drain from the machine seems to have very fine fluff? particles suspended in it and is cloudy (it wasn’t like this before), and I’m worried that there is something in the guts of the machine causing blockages somewhere.

Is it worth trying to repair do you think? Is there anything else I can check?

you would ned to remove the sump hose off the drum and see if you can find anything

Yes, I’m begginging to wonder if the sump is clogged. Do I access this from the bottom of the machine? Is it relatively straightforward or am I best getting someone out?

    Thanks!

some Bosch machines have a hard bottom others dont . if yours does not you can tilt it at 45 degrees and gain access that way.
if not the whole front would have to come off
