    Hi all,
    I am in need of a stat for a 40 year old ice box fridge. The current stat is a Ranco and it doesn’t have the push button for defrost.
    Can anyone point me in the direction of a replacement that would fit?.

    Just to add, the stat also has terminals 3,4 and 6 in use. 6 being the light switch I believe.

    usually ranco vc1 if capillary is fitted to ice box

    Threw out all my fridge stats last week, I did not see the point of keeping them any longer, had about two push button ones as well. Sorry.

    I fitted a VC1 and all seems well.
