I have a Hotpoint FETC70BP tumble dryer and when it warms up it starts making a funny noise and it seems to be coming from the water pump so is there a way to confirm this. If the pump is faulty can these be repaired or if I’ve got to buy a new one can I still carry on using the tumble dryer.

pump can make a noise you cant believe when they go wrong. cant be repaired just replace

check the rear drum bearing as they fail a lot

I’ve only had the tumble dryer 18 months and it haven’t been used that much so I’m shocked it’s gone. Would you buy the pump you linked me to or would you buy the hotpoint pump.
