ParticipantCustomer has trien a repair and created another one scenario.
Customer has a SiemensSN66T096GB/50 integ D.W.
First lockdown last year he gets an E09 and (without testing) just changes the heatpump, noticing on fitting that it’s different to the original. The part number was 1209637 when the correct one he shouldv’e fitted is 00651956.
Customer has said ever since then he has only been able to use the Power wash programme as none of the others heat up.
The heat pumps in question look similar and I suspect that both have the same connections. My query is what’s the difference between them as he’s convinced him putting the wrong one in is causing the fault….or is it more likely that the pcb is up the creek from the old heat pump failing.

ParticipantAs I understand it I believe that the temperature sensors may be a different value between different part nos.
It is unlikley that the old heat pump would have destroyed the pcb as it is switched by a relay and is otherwise direct accross the mains – certaintly I have never seen a module taken out by this fault.

a lot of later heat pumps like the drain pump use 3 phase motors fed from the board
closest tech i can get is an american 120v machine but principles are the same

ParticipantCheers Gents, I think I’ll fit the heat pump and start from there. At least then I’ll know that’s tickets boo.
