    Good evening all,

Visited the above condenser dryer at the weekend, as customer reported the above error code, along with all the led’s above the display flashing after two or three minutes of cycle.

Having had a look for possible causes, I removed the top and right hand side panel to discover a snapped drive belt.

Have just returned from replacing the belt, and would like some assistance as the fault recurred upon testing!

There is a reasonable amount of heat, although perhaps not as warm as expected, although the dryer only runs for a short period before playing up again.

I checked the heater elements visually, and for Ohms resistance on Saturday which appears fine.

Two of the heater TOC’s gave a good 0.2 Ohms reading, yet the third (red and black wire conn’s) gave a 121.4 Ohms reading. (which I don’t know if it should?)

So, should I be looking closer at the heater/circuit, or am I “barking up the wrong tree?”

Error F04 gives conflicting suggestions online…

    Thanks,

    jonty

p.s. the water collection drawer remains empty, although the dryer hasn’t run for any length of time…

Thank you for your speedy response…

Well, looks like it may well be rear ntc, which may have blown when belt snapped.

    I’ll investigate further.

    Many thanks

    Good evening,

Customer agreed to heater renewal, as not hugely more expensive than the rear ntc, so replaced, and all fine.

    Many thanks again,

    jonty
