    The oven is taking 30 minutes to get to temperature , cooking anything takes a long time, I’ve replaced the element with no difference, I’m thinking stat ?,,, I’m having problems finding parts, as the model isn’t recognised, it’s a flat touch panel, so stat is gonna be different, obviously with Christmas upon us I need to be able to cook ,, all replies welcome

    yes i am getting no hits either

    hotpoint use a number of numbers to catalogue units

    get me the rest of the numbers off the label

    Think the Model maybe a bit wrong Si4858cix the 1s are supposed to be I, s
    I would be looking at fan motor part number C00398229

    Also this is a multi function oven so what setting is causing the problem ?

    if its a convection oven setting there is a hidden element under the floor which can fail

    Thanks guys, Kaibart,, fan is new and working, Dave, I’m using the fan oven feature, I know there’s a element underneath, I’ll certainly have a look at it,, I tried to take a picture of the model number but it’s to big to upload apparently ..

    to add pic you can reduce the size, there are some sites online that will do this or host it ofline and post a public link
