    Installed à brand new Candy FCP615X/E today, and when any of the oven functions are selected there is a humming sound coming from the oven, I doesn’t sound right to me, like something you might here on a 70’s kitchen appliance on its last legs.

    Also noticed that when I select the top and bottom element function with fan it doesn’t spin. If I select the bottom element function with fan it does spin.

    Have I received a duff oven? My previous Hoover oven was silent when the door was closed.

    The humming sound is likely the cooling fan running.
    Not sure why the fan doesn’t run on ‘top and bottom with fan’ setting as I would have thought it should. Assume the fan isn’t just cutting out when it’s up to temperature?

    It’s going back, collection arranged today. The entire experience has been a disaster. This is the 3rd oven received, first 2 were damaged in transit, this the 3rd is faulty. I am going to order form another retailer.
