I have just replaced the upper and lower elements of the left hand oven for Rosiere Bocuse double oven. But a single red lead has come adrift from somewhere!. The loom leads go into a connector block and this has already two red leads attached to lugs and there is a third lug free which seems the obvious place for the loose red lead, nowhere else looks likely. The oven works as it is but in both ovens when the switches are set to Oven, it is only the outer circuit of the element that warms up whereas I think the whole element should warm up (both inner and outer circuits). The inner circuit works when the switch is set to Grill. Any ideas? anyone know where there’s a wiring diagram?

    Thanks

First thing anyone would need to know to try to help is, what Bocuse cooker it is, there’s a number of models.

I’d need the serial number, there’s a few versions but I won’t be back at my desk till Monday soonest.

A couple of days off thankfully.

Anyone out there got a working 4040DB? When you turn the oven on does all of the upper element go red or does only part of it go red?
    Thanks, TomT

if your using it as an oven only the element outer and the other element under the floor are in use

Thanks Dave, that’s the way mine’s working now so I’ll just tape up that extra red lead and leave it.
