I got called out to this dryer and they said they heard a pop noise on inspection I found 1 of the relays had fallen apart I fitted part and found motor very slow moving found a sock jammed in front fan run the dryer on warm 30 with clothes in and had heat now clean out airways light is coming on when used on cottons normal any ideas I font normally work on these tia kai
check the door seal
these units expel the air forming a vacuum in the drum. this then pulls the air in over the elements. If the door seal is faulty it lets air in and reduces airflow over the elements making the sensors think the filters are blockedDave
Would the 2 filters in the door cause this ? As they were not fitted. Also I’ve done some digging and can’t see that I may be able to de activate this clean out airways, would changing the pcb,or removing and cleaning the front duct cause this problem?
if the 2 filters were clogged i could understand it but not not being there will make better flow
the machine is sensing an airflow problem so anything that lowers the airflow through the heater will cause it. that also includes blocked outlet pipe
