ParticipantHi all,
Our Bosch oven has started tripping the RCD fuse at our fuse board. It is the only device on the 32Amp fuse socket.
The model is a 2 oven model grill on top with oven , and fan oven on bottom:
Bosch FD-8106
E-Nr. U1421N06GB/06
H-AP54-8 57503113905We have experimented and found that the oven only trips when the fan oven is used. Sometimes it will trip 5 times on the same heat cycle, other times it won’t trip at all.
Ideally looking to fix this – can anyone make any suggestions on where / how to begin?
It’s worthwhile saying that this problem seems to have only begun recently, after a fuse board replacement (which replaced an ancient wire fuse board to a proper RCBDO board). I doubt this is relevant from the fault’s perspective but wanted to note it.
Many thanks in advance

ParticipantHi electrofix – thank you. I don’t know which part specifically you mean by ‘the element’.
Can you give me the part number that you feel aligns with the ‘element’ on that website?

ParticipantThanks electrofix
I have ordered the heating element 🙂
Do you know of any good guides on how to replace? or is it pretty self explanatory once the screws are off?

Moderatorthe only thing to be aware of is quite often there are 2 wires on one side but only 1 on the other and you must not get it wrong

ParticipantHi electrofix – I wanted to close the loop!
Fitted the new heating element and the oven has not tripped all morning. Thank you for your guidance in both installation, and most importantly helping me to source the correct part for the model.

Can you post a link to the heating element you ordered and if you found any good video showing how to replaced. It looks like I have the same problem with our Bosch oven as you did. Thanks
