Miele G5220SC dishwasher stuck on wash/rinse cycle

Our dishwasher will not move on to the dry cycle. We use the Eco programme. It’s using lots of rinseaid. Filled it up before wash and led on now. Wash time remaining is always 57 mins when this happens. Measured water temp at 55C It’s intermittent. If I open and close the door it appears to try starting up four times and then runs ok on 5th but still is stuck in cycle and timer at 57mins. I would be grateful for help.
