ParticipantHi,
At the moment I am looking for a washing machine with the following requirements:
– Silent
– Needs to have capacity for wash from 3-4 people
– Reliable
– Good repairability
– Energy efficient
– Less than 800 euro’sWith these requirements I found the following devices:
– Miele WCD 330 WCS (771 euro)
– Miele WCD 030 WCS (667 euro)
– Siemens WM14VMH0NL (588 euro)The Siemens seems to be lacking a full water protection system, however it seems diy repairs are more feasible and affordable.
Miele seems to be more expensive to repair and I heard that their current spiders can corrode more easily.Maybe someone can chime in and help me out!

ModeratorSo first thing is you are quoting Euro’s, your ip address and the Siemens model you give lead me to believe you are in Holland?
As for the machines we have our own model numbers in the main. Looking at the brands I agree totally with what you say apart fronm the Miele spioder issue which I must admit I have not come across here in the UK.
I would personally go middle of the road 😉

Just one more question if I may. I saw you mentioning that splitable tubs are something that you should want for repairability. Do you know if a GlaronK (Miele plastic) tub is splitable?January 28, 2022 at 8:00 am #480862don
ModeratorThe only way I may be able to find out is by the model number you are refering to.

ParticipantI can’t find an exact similar model on the UK website of Miele.
However these seem fairly similar to it:
WCD 030 WCS is a 8kg version of the WCA 030 WCS. So it might be a newer version of the WCD 020 WCS?
The WCD 330 WCS is I think comparable to the WED 325 WCS or the WWD 320 WCS.January 28, 2022 at 9:52 am #480864don
ModeratorWCD030, WCA030 both have sealed tubs. The WCD330 and the WED325 has a replaceable rear tub.
You cvan look up all Miele parts explosions on their website here just key in the model number.
