    Hi there,
    I’m having some probelems with a Hoover H130E it’s just over 2 years old.
    The appliane is dead. when i select a cycle i get an odd creaking noise for about 10 seconds coming from behind the selector knob. i dont think this is the cause of the fault, i think its just some dry gears but cant be sure. i dont get any lights on at all and the door doesnt lock. i have had a look at the pcb and can see no blow marks or blistered components.

    This may be a straight forward fault for you guys but don’t normally have to work on hoover. 😕

    Any help would be greatly apreciated

    Door interlock is the favourite on these Steve, part number 90489300 about £6 from the usual places.

    The creaking noise may well be the program being “selected” Hoover’s have often had a mechanical motor or device that finds the right spot before starting.
