    Hi,

this is a self cleaning heat pump dryer and the 1st one I have encountered.
The complaint was that it wan’t drying, so I cleared out an amount off fluff the size of a football and ran it and advised them to try it.
I have just had a call to say it still wasn’t drying, although, there was some heat where there wasn’t before.
Can anyone offer any advice as to what I could look for next, before my visit on Thursday.

    Thanks.

Just to add, I did wash the lint filter and cleaned the moisture sensor.

not sure how deep you went
looks like its one of the self cleaning condensors but they dont

i find i can use a piece of wire coat hanger to gently hook the fluff off the face

    Thanks.
There was a cover on the front bottom left. I assumed it would unclip, but I struggled to get it off and didn’t want to risk breaking it.

    Thanks for the advice Dave.
I used a coat hanger, dropped if through the front chamber where the filter sits and picked out the excess fluff I could see on the fins.
I left it with the customer to report back and they have just said that it is now working.

if you get it again you can also take the lid off and pour water down the evaporator cleaning duct after you have removed worst of the lint

    glad you sorted it
