Two issues here:
1. I have just replaced the Tangential cooling fan which was pretty straightforward with no real doubts about installation or which way round the wiring connections were and I have checked I fitted it the same way as the original.It runs all the time blowing air from front to back. Is it supposed to do this? I don’t think it did that before it ceased working. Is there a switch control that may have gone faulty? I have recently replaced the grill element. It was not running when I replaced the grill element but there was a definite warm spot above the motor. Any clues?
2. The fan oven light. Replacement lamps do not last any length of time <2 weeks. I was going to replace the lamp holder thinking it may be faulty once I find a replacement the same size but that’s another story and with the spares team). Any pointers as to what’s wrong here would be gratefully received.
We have lived with both issues for a long time- non working cooling fan and light but seeing as I was in the back replacing the grill I decided to attempt to fix both of these.
