    Hi,

    I am trying to find a replacement rotary control switch for a De Dietrich DME555XE1 Combination Microwave and Oven

    The existing switch is extremely erratic, making selecting a time extremely hard.

    The details on the back of the existing switch are:
    89091400A
    05 51
    2840-0170

    It appears to be this part: https://pieces-detachees.sogedis.fr/106132

    However I am unable to find anywhere that sells that part. Does anyone know where I could either source this part or an equivalent compatible one?

    one of the main parts suppliers list it as no longer available

    just had similar fault on samsung microwave and a small amount of WD sorted it

    Thanks for taking a look on the main parts supplier list, it is a shame they have discontinued spares.

    I had not considered WD, I will try to clean over the weekend and report back.
