ParticipantI attended this dishwasher as it was showing H error code, I know it is based on Hotpoint/Indesit error codes. I used the fault code to determine what’s going on.
I replaced the water chamber which did not clear the H error code. Could it be the aquastop be the culprit as it was not putting water through? I checked the inlet tap and can confirm there is water coming through. There is also power to the aquastop but doesn’t seem to be responding. It probably obvious that the aquastop being faulty, just that I hardly ever replace aquastop on Hotpoint/Whirpool dishwashers with exception of AEG dishwashers which is completely different matter.
Maybe the aquastops are made by the same manufacturer as AEG? Which could explain why it can fail?

ParticipantThanks Dave,
The letters and numbers did took me a while to make sense of it. It is Hotpoint based machine with a whirlpool frock on it.
Will have a look, the error message did show up as H but no fault code. customer did say F15 or F16 at one point (I can’t remember exactly) but it did not show up in my presence.

ParticipantCustomer emailed me to say it was F12. I am pretty sure that he did not tell me F12 as I am certain he said F15! Obviously a different ball game with different diagnosis, it doesn’t quite make sense as the button controller is responding very well and no indication of flickering or anything of that matter. I checked the state of the wiring especially at the lower part of the door where the insulation sleeve have a tendency to ride down and squashing the cable. None of the cable appears to be compressed and all are intact. I even checked the connections on the main board, even the board itself, nothing untoward.
Quick google searches relating to the H code suggesting kink on the inlet hose, water supply, etc etc. Hence the reason why I replaced the water chamber. I checked it all over, no indications of kinking as it was very well installed with all the hoses and main lead easily accessible and not stretched out as there are a lot of slack on all three sources.
Anyhow, having trouble with logging onto ASWO, probably website maintenance. Will try again tomorrow…
