Hi everyone,
Just wondering if anyone has any previous experience with this problem.
Manage to grab a almost new Candy Condenser Tumble, The had it replaced by Candy/Hoover as water was dripping from the door.
I assumed it would be something easy to fix(as its a tumble, they’re normally not too bad, famous last words) but this one is doing my brain in.The moisture is forming around the door opening area, as if the door seal isn’t making good contact all the way around.
It gets so bad that the moisture is sitting on the back of the fascia making the touch sensitive buttons unusable until it drys off.
Replacing the door seal I hope would have fix it ….Alas, No improvement at all,
I also had a replacement door complete with hinge. Still no good. Anyway to cut a long story short.
parts changed;
Door with Hinge,
Door seal Tried part 40005393 (also tried the 40012725 as a long shot as thicker)
Front metal pained cover
Inner white plastic drum support.Nothing has worked so far,
Anyone got any ideas what to try otherwise its getting broken for parts to try and fix the next one!
Thanks in-advance everyone :))There is a modification to the seal where the drum sits on for the problem your complaing about it call a felt seal part number is 40007831 kai

if this seal was a mod for a problem would the part he fitted not come with modified seal ?

Yes your right Dave, the only way condensation can get on the pcb is going to be in that area and the part number on that seal I’m sure might be different as it is a tight fight and you have to encourage the drum around to get it started and leave run for a good 20 minutes
I do think there is a leak of hot air somewhere
I think i would try a mirror or a pair of glasses. run the unit with the lid off and full of wet washing . then move the mirror arround and see it it fogs upDave
