Customer reported that the dishwasher wouldn’t finish the cycle. No leaks and the usual stuff such as filling, heating, draining. From extensive questioning, it was described that the dishwasher was filling up with water, circulated the water and wouldn’t end that particular stage prior to draining as you would normally do. customer thought it was taking too long, he opened the door to check and there was water sloshing about, so he closed it again and eventually it did drain but didn’t end the program.

It has a new pcb control module replaced two years ago as it was showing similar fault. Now this happens, any idea what could it be causing the problem?

It works ok on 45 deg program, due to time restraints I don’t have the luxury to run it through the usual wash program which the customer uses on the eco program. They says it seems to be happening every time they use the eco wash program. I thought maybe the drain pump might be faulty but it works perfectly well on the 45 deg program. I’m stumped…

    help please…
    thanks
    Matt

Hi matt hope this picture will help you rule out some components put it on quick wash and listen carefully the 11 steps should happen in sequence

Ignore 11 as this model doesn’t have a heat exchanger

I assume it is actually heating and not fed with hot water giving the impression its heating

Everything works fine on the 45 deg program,
    1) pump out
    2) fill then clicks
    3) wash pump starts up in stages
    4) dispenser sprung open
    5) heater works and heated up to prescribed temperature of 45 degrees, well actually around 40 degrees due to heat loss.
    6) drain out
    7) fill up
    8) wash pump
    9) drain
    10) presumedly drying stage then drain and beeped to indicated that it has ended.
