Fridge-freezer not working

Hi all

I am trying to troubleshoot a CDA FW871 fridge freezer. The indicator lights work but both the top fridge and lower freezer are warm (room temperature).

In the past I have replaced the thermistors in sperate fridges and freezers but have little experience of working on fridge/freezers.

It is a mate’s machine. Unless there is a relatively quick way of fixing it, I might be inclined to recommend that he replace the whole thing.

I would appreciate any relevant advice.
