Hi I was wondering if someone could assist.

Our fan oven has stopped heating. The grill works fine just not the oven.

    Things I’ve tested and noted…

    > BOTH fans are working

    > BOTH oven elements are not heating

    > BOTH oven elements tested OK with a digital multimeter so elements not at fault.

    > NO POWER going to elements tested with DMM

    > Selector switches tested working fine.

After some research I believe the fault to be either with the relay ‘control’ PCB. (I’ve reflowed the solder on the PCB to no avail so possibly need a new PCB which is readily available here:

    OR

The safety thermostat which is labelled ‘Campini Ty 62-A’ (180c) and is looking rather BROWN & TOASTY

Please can anyone chime in with which is likely to be the culprit.

I need to get this fixed asap.

    Thank you

    Scott

At the back of the oven there will be a small pcb thatbis probably faulty as that is where the power comes from to the elements

Yes that would be the control board mentioned in my original post. So you think it is likely that rather than the safety thermostat?

you should be able to check continuity on the safety thermostat with your meter

For closure purposes I can confirm it was the relay PCB that was faulty. The new PCB arrived today from UK White Goods which I installed and jobs a good-un.
