I have a 5 year old Rangemaster 110. The fan sometimes fails to start when the oven is turned on. By manually turning it a little it starts. Is a new fan motor the answer?

    All advice welcome…

    Hi Tubby

Yes I am afraid it is. In my experience of stripping them down and oiling them, they dont tend to last very long (heat soon drys out oil). so I tend to fit new one now and forget the messing about.

Spares on this site should be able to source you one.

    Unplug/disconnect before going in :zap:

Definatly a new fan motor required, note that you do need to get behind the cooker to replace this and you may want to get an expert in:click here to try our repairs@service

To identify the correct fan motor we’ll also need the serial number please, it’s inside the warming drawer compartment 😀

    Dave.
