Hi, Our HFC 2B19 dishasher was working well but then mains circuit breaker tripped, on resetting dishwasher was dead. Replaced fuse in its plug everything seemed OK. Checked for obvious nothing found. Tried again, it seemed to srtart up from where it was, think end of initial rinse cycle – not sure, 5 mins later it tripped circuit breaker again. Own fuse OK, have had bottom panel off, checked for obvious blockages in pipes and water feeds, can’t see anything. Now has fault lights and beeps although sounds like it is trying to work. Lights are the power and the staret button LEDs flash as beeps..thoughts please! Thanks.,

I’m tempted to type….No sh*** Sherlock! However , being positive I think you confirm my thoughts “This is one to get a man in, but might be cheaper to…” As a footnote, having just double checked water supply etc – (cos it sounds like it is trying to move a non- existent water feed) the lights are flashing power, flashing start and a steady ‘ECO’ button LED. machine won’t actually turn off using power button – it goes dead but then powers itself up and goes straight into sounding like it is pumping and flashing lights….so…synopsis doesn’t look good but possibly an electronic/board issue?!

Usual culprits for tripping are heating element, shorted door wiring etc. Tripping several times can lead to pcb damage. Given the type of machine then ‘getting a man in’ may be difficult. Genuine traders will either decline to visit or advise replacement.
