    Hi All,

    we have the above hood and on any fan setting the motor – fan pulses low high low high, if I turn the lights on the fan stops and lights flicker. Without the fan on the lights pulse or flicker too.

    any ideas on what this might be and how to fix it ?

    I have a feeling it’s the PCB but not 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}

    thanks in advance

    Thanks Dave, I don’t even know where it’s located on this model but I’ll try to find it and post pics if I do.

    Ok removed chimney and all I can see there is a transformer.

    will the pcb be on the control panel which houses the light and fan switches ?

    ok got the measure of that

    there is a large X2 cap poss 1uF ( you need to check. first pic at the bottom)

    get one and change it and there a good chance it will be fine

    The X2 capacitor Dave is referring to is the large grey rectangular one at the bottom of your picture.
