Hoover Dishwasher cycle stuck.

Hoover Dishwasher model H-DISH 300 fitted brand new in January 2022. It is topped up with the proper dishwasher salt and rinse aid, and Fairy dishwasher tablets are always used. Programme P2 is usually always selected, but this morning when switching on the machine the Programme button would not allow selection, i.e. nothing happened when it was pressed. I switched the machine off by holding and pressing button A (ON-OFF), but this didn’t allow me to proceed with selecting P2 after switching on again. However, turning off the supply at the 13Amp mains plug did then let me select the P2 programme. But now the machine appears to just fill up with water, and then after several minutes the pump automatically empties it. This cycle seems to go on ad infinitum. I have tried holding down the C button (START/RESET) to clear any rogue settings, but this does not appear to make any difference. Also, I have never set this machine for a DELAYED START, but the 3h l.e.d. appears to be lit – how do I turn off DELAYED START ?

Any help with this would be much appreciated…
