Hi all,
I have an issue with a 3 year old Candy vented tumble dryer.
Recently it has started switching itself off mid cycle. After about a minute or so later it switches back on, and then I have to start the program again.
It is definitely heating up inside, just like it normally does, and I can see on the smart meter it is drawing the same power it has always done (about 2.5Kw)
I have taken it apart and completely cleaned it out. There was very little fluff within the chassis, and the pipes were not clogged up with lint. I cleaned up the lint filter sensor as well as the thermostat.
I tested the thermostat and that seemed to be registering about 0.2 ohms
No matter what cycle I put it on and no matter what drying level I set it to it does the same thing. Works for a few minutes and then switches off, and then comes back on a minute later.
Any ideas what this could be would be most appreciated.
Thanks
