Hi! Hope someone can help me please.

My NEFF T2d2x1 induction hob runs for about 20 seconds then shuts off. No error code, the panel just goes completely dead. I switch off the unit at the mains, wait 30 seconds, switch back on and it runs for another 20 seconds, then switches off. I’ve checked the wiring in the switch and under the hob – all seems well. The unit is in good condition, no cracks or anything like that. I’m thinking that the power to unit is okay, as the unit restarts (for a few seconds) after being switched off at the wall.
The unit is 11 years old and I’m based in the UK.

    Any ideas please? Thanks!

    Hi,

    Sorry for the late response.

The E-Nr Number is: T42D20X1/01 but I can’t find the FD number. Sorry!

This is the model on the NEFF website: http://www.neff-home.com/uk/supportdetail/product/T42D20X1/01

    Kind regards

ok the first thing i would check is the terminal block under the hob. the block will probably have brass links and some installers forget to check all scews are tight

The FD number should be on the label under the hob. it will give me an exact age of the appliance
the Enr should also be got off the label to be certain we are talking about the same hob. you cant trust instruction books etc
