    Hi everyone,

A friend speaks so highly about the members on this forum so I’m hoping someone maybe able to share their knowledge on the issues I’m experiencing with my Samsung WF80F5E0W2W washing machine.

Approximately 4 weeks ago my washing machine stopped spinning, I’ve replaced the carbon motor brushes which temporarily resolved the spinning issue but yesterday it stopped working once again.

I placed the machine into service mode and fault code 3E was displayed, previous to this code another fault code UC was present.

I’ve seen people moaning about PCB failing on these models / age machines, would anybody know what maybe causing my spinning issues please?

Any guidance or assistance would be gratefully welcomed and very much appreciated.

Does the drum turn freely by hand? Any abnormal sounds when turning it? Also, does the drum feel loose and is there much movement between the drum and rubber seal as you test the drum for movement?

when you fitted the brushes did you check they would move in and out ok without locking

some brushes lock when fully in to stop damage in transit and have to be released
