    Hi,
    Looking for some help/advice. I have a Hotpoint Tumble Dryer, Model number NT M10 81WK UK, and I have no idea how, but it stopped working last week and has the demo icon lit up. I have followed the instructions in the Quick Guide that came with the appliance to no avail.
    I rang up Hotpoint and all they wanted to do was sell me more cover and told me to Google the full manual. Tried getting my manual and it says my model number is invalid!! Really fed up and getting know where, just going round in circles.
    Has anyone had the same experience with the demo icon suddenly on and have you found a way to get it off
    thanks to everyone who reads this and anyone who can help.

    Hi Dave,

    Thank you so much tried it this morning and I now have my dryer back
    I don’t know what I was doing wrong but the clear advice above helped me cure it first time this morning
