Hi, I hope that I can get help with two questions that I have regarding a Kenwood Chef XL (KQL61) mixer. first, I would like to inform that I’ve tried to Email my question to “kenwoodworld” but I couldn’t find any Email address. it’s a pity that they don’t have any (at least I wasn’t able to find) customer support service. but to the point. I have the mixer mentioned above and I have the meat grinder that was an attachment of an older version of the Kenwood Chef (I guess it about 30 or more years) that I used to have. anyhow, I understood that an adaptor is needed in order to use the meat grinder, so I bought the KAT002ME adaptor and here is the problem, it fits fine to the mixer but not to the meat grinder. is it possible to use it with another type of adaptor and if so, could you tell me which one?
The second question that I would like to ask – is the AT312 citrus juicer compatible with the Chef XL mixer? I want to buy one and I would like to make sure before hand.
I’ve tried to upload pictures but wasn’t able to do so, received a message that there is a limit of 2MB.I have no idea regarding compatibility but I do know that all Kenwood Chef appliances have been made in China for some years now and are nothing like the quality of the original equipment.
seen quite a few over the years but not enough to know what accessories fit what and how
had a freind that wanted to ad an accessory so i got the adapter and the accessory and that worked fine but cant comment on your problem without see why it wont fit

As I mentioned, the KAT002ME adapter fits perfectly to the mixer. the problem is on it’s other side – where the meat grinder inserted into the adapter. it is really odd, because the meat grinder is also made by Kenwood.
