ParticipantOur Bosch Maxx 6 1200 has gone to shizzle after about a decade (or a little under) and we’d like to replace it. The measurements for that machine are w59.5cm, h85cm, d56cm. New models seem to be bigger these days. We need a small appliance due to limited space. I’m going to gamble on the smallest sizes available but I’ve seen that Bosch now do sealed drums for most of their products and I’ve read that’s not a good thing as it’s costly to replace and likely to go kaput sooner.
I’m searching through the manuals of the new models and I cannot find any information about drum types – sealed or otherwise. I read somewhere to look at the spare parts for machines as a clue to drum types but I’m getting nothing from those pages since I don’t know what I need to be looking for. I’ve been looking at these ones below.
Bosch Serie 2 WAJ28008GB Freestanding Washing Machine-

https://www.argos.co.uk/product/7950445 (D55cm)
John Lewis – Same Make – the reason I am posting this one as well is that the measurements are different for the same make, which is concerning (D60cm)

Can’t find spare parts for this one on the Bosch website (concerning??) but this is the machine:
https://www.bosch-home.co.uk/product-list/WAN24109GBIt definitely has to be Bosch as relatives will not accept another brand.
If you can offer some insight to help me with my research, that would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks. [h=1][/h] [h=1][/h]

ParticipantBosch Serie 2 WAJ28008GB Freestanding Washing Machine- Has a tank you can disassemble via the parts breakdown waj28008gb/01.
https://www.johnlewis.com/bosch-seri…white/p4917463
https://www.bosch-home.co.uk/support…glebox=tb0319/WAN28281GB as wan28281gb /32 has a disassembling tank
Wan24109gb as a WAN24109GB/33 does have a disassembling tank. If you type wan24109gb/01 you get this product is no longer available anymore, so presume that version not destined for import presumably reason unknownJuly 17, 2022 at 4:31 pm #483018SharkTeeth

Sorry to be an idiot but is a complete tub a ‘sealed’ drum?

https://www.bosch-home.co.uk/support…glebox=tb0319/Thanks. Tank = drum? and Tub = drum? Is a disassembled tank not a sealed drum? I know the clue is in the name but just want confirmation.
