What’s the usual cause of the mains tripping when I put the oven on? Hopefully it’s just the oven element which seems a relatively easy job.

This cooker has two ovens, left one is a conventional type oven (the one with the problem) and the right oven is a fan type oven, which is working ok.
The cooker is a Rangemaster Toledo 110 Ceramic, it appears that on the left oven there are two elements, one on the top which is easy to access and there is also a base element, which I cannot even see.
Anyone replaced the base element on this type of cooker? If so how do you gain access for removal of this element?

Most of these you can remove the base element by removing the back panel, and on conventional cookers the base element is the most likely culprit.
