    Hotpoint freestanding Dishwasher.
    model: FDFET33121V.
    Serial: 406134806.

Customer complaints of intermittent F02 error towards end of the cycle. Frequency of error is increasing. The machine does complete cycle.

Upon visit, error didn’t appear and machine filled and emptied successfully. There were no signs of water having leaked into base. Polystyrene float system was working, free(not stuck) and not deformed/bent.

Is this a filling time-out error? Possibly blocked inlet filter/low water pressure)?

The Hotpoint website says ‘water fill solenoid valve failure’.

    Regards and thanks.

    This thread…
    (https://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/forums/forum/public-support-forums/help-and-support/dishwasher-help-forum/92169-hotpoint-dishwasher-f02)

…seems to indicate that F02 can be caused by anti flood float switch activating. But, (as with filling time out) there is a separate message for this error. F01 and F06 respectively (https://www.hotpointservice.co.uk/dishwasher-repair/error-codes).
