ParticipantHi. I have a DeLonghi microwave model p90d25el-b1b
It heats food fine but it has started randomly beeping. The finished cooking beep. It does it all the time even during cooking. I tried plugging it out overnight hoping it would reset but that didn’t do anything. Does anyone know why it would randomly beep? Thanks beep beepFebruary 2, 2023 at 3:51 pm #483450spin
ParticipantIt’s fixed. The symptoms were, first the microwave started beeping randomly. Then it would turn on by itself. Over time the start and stop buttons became intermittent. Then finally the start button did nothing. The problem turned out to be faulty start and stop buttons. Replacing them fixed all of the issues. If your microwave is doing bizarre things by itself replacing the start and stop buttons might fix it. Start and stop are the buttons that are pressed the most often so most likely to be faulty. If you take a button from another position on the board and move it into the start or stop position don’t leave the original position blank because I think that will create a floating input which will cause the microwave to continue to do random things.
