    Hi can one of you lovely people tell me please what is the XC system on Zanussi machines and which is the best the WJD series or the ZWF series as I seem to be going round in circles comparing them.

    Thanks Martin for the link but they don’t tell you much on there half of the links don’t work.

    I finally bought a WJD1257 for £186.99 plus delivery from the Comet auctions, it does have some damage to the sides but that won’t be seen when its installed and they offer a 12 month guarantee so I hope I made a good choice as this is for my boyfriends flat where we don’t have room for a separate dryer. (only use the dryer for bedding and towels anyway) Money being tight it was shop soiled or another make and I always have Zanussi or Bosch at my own house and they serve me well so I really wanted to stick with either one of them for his place.
    Comments, good or bad on my purchase would be welcome, did I get a good buy or not?

    Can anyone tell me what the XC is about, is it the top or bottom of the range and what does it do?

    XC – extra capacity, means its can take a bigger load (think it’s 6kg rather than the usual 4.5)
