Just seeing if anyone else had come across this phenomenon of being called out being powder hasn’t dissolved properly and leaves a hard clumped up residue in the dispenser. Usually this indicates low water pressure or a faulty valve but when testing these appliances water pressure is fine. I often find myself blaming the actual powder even though it has been stored in an airtight moisture free container.

So wondering if anyone else had come across this issue and what they put down as the cause.

    Or too much being used.

I have put the powder in myself in small quantities with same result. Gets rid of most but leaves solid lumps.

Manufacturers don’t put much investment into powders any more and the products probably don’t perform as well as they did 15 years ago. In addition, they probably contain fewer fillers, to reduce manufacturing and transport costs, save space on supermarket shelves and reduce environmental pollution.

And, what powder, they’re not all created equal?
