    hoover tc650 condenser dryer, filter light on so no heat, filter not blocked
    heater tests ok not had the fault b4

    Microtemp usually that’s strapped to the heater box, also a flooded float chamber can cause similiar grief 🙂

    checked temp tests ok also micro switch ok

    common fault i agree with martin check across Microtemp is it open circuit?

    yep was the temp my partner had not disconected wiring b4 testing so was getting a reading cheers

    Fluff and muck generally caught between that chamber and the water reservoir.

    I had one yesterday where I could see the float that operates the microswitch bobbing up and down in the chamber which also holds the little pump at the back of the dryer. It clearly had water in. When I switched the dryer on though it pumped the water up into the water container at the top – so I let it go.
