    Bosch washing machine WAJ28008GB/08 the door will not lock. The door lock symbol flashes a couple of times then goes out.
    I’ve tried a new interlock 00638259 – same problem.
    No error messages.
    Anyone have any ideas? This machine is just over 2 years old.

    No Dave defiantly not child lock.
    The child lock activates and can be deactivated

    well the next thing i would try is a reset

    followed by removing door lock and operate by hand

    then look for power going to the lock

    then check board for damage

    oh and disconnect heater as a long shot and try it


    you may have done some of this already
