Bosch SPV25CX00G/46 built in slimline dishwasher.
You select a programme and press start.
Close the door and within a second or two machine beeps once and tap symbol flashes.
Any ideas?Ok could be a number of things contact Reed switch, drain valve, drain pump heat pump, and last of all pcb very unlikely

Yes I do appreciate it could be a number of things and I’ve come across the tap symbol flashing on many occasions but it’s usually during a cycle and caused by either a fill or drain issue.
I’m assuming the module is detecting a fault at start up and giving this error.
It’s not practical or cost effective to just keep changing components til you hit the jackpot so I guess it’s heading for the tip.Well only the drain valve is something you can check for resistance so your left with contact or drain pump,also check for blockages as when this start the drain pump runs then the heat pumpand then goes through a sequence until it fills
