    Hi,

We have an indesit IDS105 – it has been a bit unreliable recently, and would occasionally stop the cycle and flash lights whilst other times it would run fine.

It’s now refusing to run at all on any cycle.

when a cycle is started it begins to pump water and sounds like its getting water through the spinners for a few minutes, then it starts to drain and lights 1 and 3 flash along with the start/pause light and the cycle ends when it has drained.

Annoyingly we’re planning to change the kitchen in about a year and would be replacing with a full size dishwasher, otherwise I would just replace as we’ve had 8 years of service.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

    Hi Dave,

Thanks for the reply I’m not able to upload a photo – it says I have a limit of 17.5kb and I can’t get the photo below 17.7kb!

The lights flashing are the washing type logo (waves and bubbles) and the “end” light and the start/pause light if that helps?

    ok thats bad news

light 1 3 and 4 give me non operative module

which probably means the main module need changeing or reprogramming

indesit only job unless you find an engineer who has paid out for the programming gear. even a new module would need programming as it comes blank

    Yes that’s the ones – 1, 3 & 4.

That’s a shame – I was hoping it was something simple like the pressure sensor 🙁

Thanks for the response – saves me wasting £25!

If it’s intermittent I’d try reseating the connectors to the main board to see if that helps.

Where is the main board located?

It was intermittent, but consistently doesn’t wash now.
