    Good afternoon all,

Visited a customer earlier to look at the above heat pump dryer with reported E63 error code.

I confirmed the above when trying on a couple of different programmes – Time remaining displayed, press start, several clicks (from the control board?) and around ten seconds later, E63 displayed, along with 4 beeps, pause, 4 beeps, pause, 4 beeps, pause, longer pause, and repeats beep phase.

However, I cannot find out what E63 relates too, nor if the beeping is relevant…

Tested again, and programme started and ran well.

Tried with a couple of damp towels, and monitored operation for over twenty minutes.

Dryer tumbles, heats (not hot, due to type of dryer?) counts down, and all seems fine.

My customer is happy to “see if the fault recurs;” in the meantime, I would be grateful if someone could shed some light on the error code.

    Thank you,

    jonty

Well, may have to refer this problem to Bosch.

I cannot even ascertain what error E63 relates to, despite searching online etc.

The Bosch website lists several dryer error codes, but not the above.

I contacted Bosch customer service earlier, who stated that “error E63 necessitates a Bosch engineer visit” and no other information is available for this fault…

    Best wishes,

    Hello again,

I’ve established that error E63 relates to the power module/circuit, which I suspect is the cause especially as a clicking noise appears to be coming from the board/relay in board, prior to beeping and displaying E63…

well cant tell if its an inverter motor or not

if not i would check motor connections and motor relay solder joints as a long shot
