Need some advice i have a whirlpool side by side fridge freezer is it normal for all the information lights located on the freezer door temp lights etc to go out,,, they light up when i open any of the doors but after closing the doors they go out after a few seconds is this normal or is the appliance faulty
you would have to look in the book.
it does sound sort ot right with the current trend to reduce power consumptionDave
Dave thanks for your reply,,,its just i have had the appliance for several years now but have not noticed if this is normal and as i am getting on abit dont know if its an age thing ha ha ha
have you looked in the menus of the control panel
dont know the unit and dont do many fridges but was thinking it was an option in the menus to have it on or fade out after time
would still find the manual and look

Dave dont know where the control panel menu is,,,it all started when i changed the water filter,,,tried to put out the red warning light ,,,that did not work now i am thinking i have done something to make all the info lights go off
