The door seal has ripped on our Servis WMA35P is it a diy job to replace or do we need to call out an engineer?

    Thanks

I cannot stand judge to your abilities, but it does require someone with electrical competence and a decent kit of tools. However it is not an expensive job for a local guy to fix for you, so I really do recommend taking that route

To check if we have such a guy in your area click here: –
    Repairs@

Alternatively a new door seal can been obtained by emailing the relevant information to : spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk

    I think you’ll find it’s a Hotpoint………. 🙂

We can’t tell you how to do it blow by blow, but taking the front panel off the machine makes it quite straightforward. Power off of course.

Door seal is p/n is 1603291, an email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will get one organised for you.
